ABOUT KGMSDC SOCIETY

Karnataka-German Multi Skills Development Centre (KGMSDC) an autonomous registered Society established by the Government of Karnataka with technical support of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit – International Services (GIZ InS) Germany has set up Karnataka German Technical Training Institutes (KGTTIs) at Bengaluru, Kalaburagi, Belagavi, Mangaluru and Hubballi on par with International standards for training in Advanced Technology Sectors.

 

With rapid advancement in technologies leading to high-end, complex business models, industries are looking for personnel having multiple skills who are adaptable to changing situations at workplace. In the years ahead, people having adequate qualification but without skills may not find placements. In this direction, the mission of KGTTI is to provide broad - based multidisciplinary training programs in advanced technical fields, directed towards development of specialised skills in alignment with the industry requirement across the globe so that the students trained in this Institute have a cutting edge over the others.

 

Currently the Institute is offering skill development courses inSeven different Skill Sectors namely 1) Electrical Technology, 2) Welding Technology, 3) Automotive Technology, 4) Manufacturing Technology5) Industrial Automation 6) Construction Technology and 7) Information Technology.

 

KGTTI Centres has established strong interface with industry partners like FESTO-GERMANY, SCHNIEDER ELECTRIC-FRANCE, VOLKSWAGEN-GERMANY, LABTECH INTERNATIONALINDONESIA, AUTODESK, MASTERCAM UNIVERSITY, HEROMOTO CROP, TVS MOTORS, TUV RHEINLAND, CISCO, REDHAT and AMAZON WEB SERVICES ACADEMY in offering various skill training programs.

 

The Institute is regarded as one of the best Skill based Training Institute with80% practical and 20% theory to ensure that trainees will achieve excellence in their chosen fields.

 

The number of students graduating has risen steadily in the last couple of years. In last ten years we were able to provide nearly 15701 highly skilled pool of manpower to the industry and most of them have been absorbed by some of the highly reputed industries. During the FY 2022-23 we expect to impart skill trainingto nearly 6000 students.

 

Many Institutes are showing keen interest to be our partners in sharing the infrastructure and direct recruitment. We are flexible, adaptable, dependable without compromising on quality!

ABOUT GIZ

Germany is the world leader in the field of advanced technology training with its Dual System approach which optimally utilizes the participation of industry. The Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ InS) GmbH, a fully owned organisation of Federal Government of Germany has been implementing numerous projects in this field all over the world. Further, GIZ InS has been Technical Consultant for KGMSDC Phase 1 and Phase 2 projects to establish Karnataka German Technical Training Institute (KGTTI) at Bengaluru and Kalaburagi during phase 1, and Mangaluru, Belagavi and Hubballi during phase 2. The brand of Karnataka German is well established during the last 10 years and is recognized as vocational training center of International Standards across Karnataka. SDEL, Government of Karnataka has thus proposed GIZ International Services (GIZ InS) support to establish another KGTTI at Mysuru, Karnataka.

 

ABOUT KGTTI

Government of Karnataka considers skill development to be an important aspect and has kick started five centers to expand network of KGTTI across the state of Karnataka. With the existing project and the promise of many more to come KGTTI's are sure to enhance employability and increase the quality of work, not only in the state but also across the nation and the world.

Karnataka German Technical Training Institute, with its world-class vocational training centers has set a benchmark in skill development. The focus is to offer skill-specific training that will help students find excellent job opportunities in the global workplace and encourage entrepreneurship among the youth.

 

OBJECTIVE

KGTTIs are offering flexible market-driven short-term and long-term technical training programmes to the candidates to become gainfully employed in the industries.

Youth of Karnataka can get training in 7 different technological areas being offered in short-term modules ranging from 1 – 6 months duration at KGTTIs. Training programs structured with 80% practical content and 20% theory to ensure that trainees will learn and acquire relevant practical skills in their chosen field.

 

VISION & MISSION

To develop KGMSDCs as world class training centers that offer specialized skills training programs in alignment with the Industry requirements in Karnataka and beyond.

KGMSDCs will generate high quality skilled manpower in close association with the Industry, while operating with operational flexibility and striving financial self-sustainability.

We are dedicated to provide broad based multi-disciplinary world class training to achieve excellence in various technical fields. Focused on development of specialised skills in alignment with Industry by meeting applicable requirements. We also achieve customer satisfaction by setting measurable objective in all our services. We ensure continual improvement in all our services to bring the effectiveness in our Quality Management System.
